It came back to us to be brought closer to the ground with a splitscreen king and link pin beam that was narrowed 3" and fitted with adjusters for maximum flexibility along with adjustable rear spring plates. |

We built a pair of dropped spindles as well as a 3" fully adjustable front beam for it and fitted it with a pair of adjustable rear spring plates and uprated shock absorbers. |

First on the list was lowering and brakes. Up the front Brazillian bay window front spindles were flipped and fitted along with discs and calipers. At the rear the old gearbox was removed and a new IRS cradle was fitted along with a re-built 1302s gearbox for taller gearing. |

Once we had sourced a rust free van we then stripped it of its parts and all of its external paint. Any repairs were then made and the body made good for it to be painted in it's original green. The mechanicals of the van are all new also including a re-built gearbox and reconditioned Vege 2.0L fuel injection engine. |

We were then given the task of repair the damage and bringing this time warp beetle back to life. |

The benefit of using these import parts is that all the dimensions are correct so their fit is my more precise and the metal quality is far superior to most reproduction panels |

So we sourced and imported this Californian mircobus. Originally a sunroof bus, the roof structure of the sunroof hole is the same as the roof used in the Westfalia's therefore making the conversion relatively simple. The van was then subject to a bare metal repaint. |
